Human trafficking is the modern form of slavery. With illegal smuggling and trading of people, for forced labour or sexual exploitation.

Trafficking is officially defined as the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons by means of coercion, abduction, fraud, deception or abuse of power of a position of vulnerability for the purpose of exploitation.

I don’t know what runs through your hearts or minds when you read or hear of women being sold as “Sex Slaves” or being lured into a trap of deceit for the purpose of drugs, being mastered and controlled by pimps who exploit them as personal puppets. Crack, cocaine or heroine are usually the pimps bait. Sometimes it’s for money for those who are homeless where there is no form of shelter provided… so women will sell their bodies that they may be sheltered, eat, and clothe themselves. A lot of women don’t survive this filthy Game! Some are kidnapped, raped and killed. We hear of children being sold also.

Thorn reports that 63% of underage sex trafficking victims said they had been advertised or sold online. 325,000 children are at risk for becoming victims of sexual exploitation in North America. The average age of entry into the sex trade in America is 14–16 years old. And if that ain’t enough… A pimp can make $150,000-$200,000 per child each year and exploits an average of 4-6 girls.

I don’t know how you feel about that but it makes me feel sick, angry and sad. But there is an answer… Jesus Christ –  The King of Kings and Lord of Lords who can break the bonds of captivity and set the captives FREE! Yes there is FREEDOM from this!

In The Bible it says in Romans:

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. – Rom 12:1-2

It’s when we surrender our bodies to Him that He gives us a NEW start! It pleases Him. He makes us clean and pure. We don’t need to live according to the demands of this world, “Wear This Dress” or “Paint Your Nails”, “Walk This Way”, “Model Your Life Around This Person” or “Listen To This Music”. Our minds can be transformed and renewed. We don’t have to think of those filthy thoughts or flashbacks, memories of the past. When our body’s are given to God we become Completely Transformed From The Inside Out.

But He won’t force His way into our lives. He waits on our open heart that is completely desperate for Him. Another part of the Bible says in Revelation 3:20: “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.”

Is God the Father knocking on the Door of your Heart today? We are already paid for as sinners because Jesus Christ who has conquered death and hell has paid the penalty for us as sinners. Our bodies are bought by HIS BLOOD that was shed on the cross.

If we surrender our lives into the loving and merciful hands of God the Father then we must honour God with our bodies. It’s an invite, will you take the offer of your body being clean, pure and safe within the hands of God? He’s waiting at your door! He patiently waits for your response. He wants to come and live inside of each hurting individual, we don’t have to come to Him clean and with our lives perfectly in order, NO! He wants to come into our lives and clean us, shape us, transform us and mold us into the man, woman and child He wants us to be.

Come as you are…wounded, afraid, uncertain, desperate and longing for His transforming touch. Allow Him to be the one who pulls the strings of your heart, who leads you into life and who orchestrates every move. It’s better to be in the hands of God than to be misled, deceived and controlled by man. What will you choose today? Even as Christians we can be seduced and controlled by the world. We can give our bodies to be pimped by satan and easily slip away from our Creator and be misguided by things that DON’T GIVE GLORY TO GOD! Lets be on our guard. Let’s chose life His Way, His Perfect Will and we will surely be a shining light!!
